Spring Semester's lecture series

Last week on 8 March, Eliana Perotti and Katia Frey gave the lecture "Hitting the Road. Gendered Research at the Architecture Department“ kickstarting the ETH Parity Talks III "Role Models”. The talk focused on Flora Ruchat-Roncati as pioneer in gendered research at D-ARCH and as unique and visible role model. Speaking of role model in architecture, Jeanette Kuo of Karamuk Kuo Architects and Assistant Professor at Harvard GSD lectured at ETH on Monday 12 March as part of an all-women line up for this Spring Semester's lecture series. We greet the Department’s initiative and the childcare offer that actively helps to involve women on both sides of the lectern. Coming up: Mierle Laderman Ukeles on 3 May at 19.00 (HIL E3) and Beatriz Colomina on 7 May at 18.00 (HIL E4).
